Prime City LLC - Management

For over a hundred and fifty years the family of the founder of Prime City, Sam Shitta-Bey, has been active in the business, political, and religious communities of the State of Lagos. Growing up in Lagos and subsequently having the opportunity to live in both the United Kingdom and the United States, Sam has continued the family tradition with direct involvement in the business community of Lagos. He also has developed a passion to see Nigerians enjoy the benefits of modern living that others experience around the world. Sam led an indigenous effort to establish direct flights between the United States and Lagos. His efforts were instrumental in opening up new air transportation routes with direct flights between key cities in the US and Lagos through major carriers such as Delta Airlines. The results helped lower the cost and the time it now takes to travel between these nations.

The following provides brief descriptions of the managment team assembled to date, with others who are already involved and will be added soon:

 

President


Sam Shitta-Bey

Having worked in various industries and lived in three different Continents, Sam brings diversity, experience and cohesion to the company. Sam Practiced as an Attorney in Nigeria for several years. Prior to this, while studying to obtain his Law Degree in the United Kingdom, he operated a real estate investment consultancy business for three years. He sold off the business after obtaining his Law Degree and moved to Nigeria.

Now living in the United States, Sam developed a niche in Real Estate and Information Technology, and has built and managed applications for different companies, as well as consulted for Government departments and Fortune 100 companies such as Bellsouth (Now AT&T) and MCI Telecommunications (Now Verizon Business) where he was also involved in senior management. He has served as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Chief Financial officer at the Atlanta International Community School.

Sam has been involved in Real Estate development in Lagos, Abuja (Nigeria) and has managed several Real Estate Investment and Management portfolios in the United States and the United Kingdom.

VP, Operations

Edison Fowler

Edison's career initially was in the medical field as a registered Physical Therapist after receiving training while serving in the U.S. Army Medical Corps for 12 years and subsequently in major medical centers in California, Texas, and Georgia. 

During the same time period Edison has been actively involved in the ongoing managment of large holdings of land in Western Texas in the heart of the Permian Basin, one of the largest and most active oil and gas fields in the world. The Family owned Partnership goes back three generations and is very active in the leasing of land for farming purposes and leasing mineral acreage to the Oil and Gas industry for drilling purposes. This partnership has led to entreprenurial investments in the US and subsequently in Africa with Prime City Construct, Ltd. and Prime City LLC.

Since co-founding Prime City over 5 years ago, Edison has provided key leadership in two building projects. His oversight and operational management helped each project be developed in a timely and fiscally sound manner. He also serves as a key member of the Management Team of Prime City Construct Ltd. as the Vice President of Operations

VP, Business Development

Daniel E. McMillen

Daniel McMillen has worked with Prime City since 2009 on a consulting basis.  Prior to Prime City, Daniel worked in senior leadership roles for global companies in the Electronics and Natural Gas industries developing strategic business initiatives and supplier/partner relationships.  

Daniel was responsible for initiating, creating, and executing a strategic business plan to launch a new Embedded Computing business unit for a global distributor, and while in the Natural Gas industry the development of a Joint Venture company with Shell Oil and the subsequent sell of the JV to Shell.  Along with being a business unit leader with P&L responsibility, he has assumed the responsibilities for the development of New Business Initiatives, Sales Teams, Sales Training, Marketing, IT Development Programs, Global Sourcing Teams and Supplier Development programs. 

Daniel earned a BA degree in German, Int’l Business emphasis from Oklahoma State University, and a BA degree in Ministerial Studies and Biblical Counseling from CLIBC.  He has pursued graduate level studies for his Masters Theological Studies.

VP, Business Development

Olaitan Shitta-Bey

A Quality Assurance expert holds a Masters Degree in Law and Quality assurance Certification from the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI Florida). Olaitan was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. She worked as a Corporate Legal Officer at First Bank Nigeria PLC, one of the largest and oldest Banks in Nigeria. She also worked for a high profile Corporate and Civil Law firm in Nigeria.

As a Certified Quality Assurance Engineer, Olaitan has held various leadership Positions in fortune 100 companies in the United States including MCI WorldCom (Now Verizon Business), ChoicePoint Inc. (Now Lexis Nexis). She spent several years as a senior consultant at Bellsouth (Now AT&T) and has held a Quality Assurance Management position at McKesson Corporation, a fortune 15 Company.

Director, Infrastructure Projects

Supo Olori
 
Supo Olori currently serves as the Project Director for all infrastructure projects for Prime City.  He provides all onsite supervisory activities and manages local teams in the development of existing projects.  Olori has directed many large scale Real Estate Development projects in the United States and Nigeria through a 30 year career in the building industry.  His vast experience and management skills on two continents working with multiple cultures is needed for the international aspects of Prime City’s projects.

Director, Technical Projects

Remy Lawall
 
Remy Lawal currently works as a principal consultant with E-Consultants Inc; a client of Intergraph PP&M. Intergraph PP&M is the world's leading provider of enterprise engineering software dedicated to the Process, Power & Marine industries. As a certified Oracle Professional, he worked as a Database Consultant for IBM Global Services for nearly a decade.

He worked at National Maritime Authority in Nigeria as a commercial officer during the late ‘80s.  He attended many seminars, workshops and other professional training in maritime management and securities. He was actively involved in decision making.

He is a prominent business owner, who manages several real-estate investment properties in the Metro-Atlanta area of the US.
